The ending to Poe
I'm falling, falling fast, down into the pit of nothingness. All my fears and regrets are blaring through my undeserving mind. My What ifs and if I only flow through my lips as i think back on my life. I'm falling to my death, and the worst part is I haven't a clue as to when the end will come. With each minute feeling weaker and weaker; I can't help but think about my family and all that i should have told them, and maybe what i shouldn't have told them. At that instint i feel as if half of my body is being swept right from me. Disregarding it I think of the homeless man that i shewed away after asking me for my gloves on the coldest day of December. with that thought i feel even emptier than i previously had. Catching a glimpse i see what is left of what once i called my body. I want to scream but i cannot find it in myself to do so. I realize that the cause is due to the awful whole going through my body. Without any desire more and more regrets come to my mind while more and more of my body disappears. Knowing i only have a few moments left before I shrivel away from the world i once called home, my biggest regret comes to my mind. I wish so badly i could tell them now that I n...
The Characters of the Crucible
I believe that each one of the characters in the crucible played a huge role throughout the play. If one character was left out of the script, the entire play would be different. It took the jealousy or wrath from one character towards another to form into the Salem Witch Trials. The ppsychological mix of character's is what made the play so interesting. The way they interacted with one another is not something we see on a day to day bases. These people did not treat each other like human beings, rather they acted as if they were all surrounded by a land of savages. Each one of them was on their own level of insecurity and could not wait to tear down someone in order to get the self-reassurance they so much desire. self-reassurance they so much desire. Due to the level of insecurity each character is faced with it is only a matter of time before they are ready to ruin their next victim. Many would say that there are only three villains in this play, but to me i veiw everyone person a villain in their own way. They all have something against another person that drives them to the point of insanity, and breaks them into nothing.
Puritan Life
This is a great reminder of how beautiful God is. In order to create something so unique and beautiful takes someone who is greater than anyone can possibly imagine. Not one single person could recreate this. By examining every flower you would not find two that were the same. That shows God's power He takes something as simple as on small flower and turns it into something breath taking. God is ultimately the creator of everything and he makes everything great no matter how small or unimportant it may seem. God will find the beauty in everything and expects us to do the same. He wants us to admire his creations and then in turn glorify him for being the creator of all things.
Squanto
Squanto helped the early settlers in many ways. He helped them with their crops, and showed them good farming tools. He acted as their tour guide and showed them the ropes of the land. Most importantly he acted as a mediator between the settlers and the Native Americans. Without Squanto the relationship most likely would not have grown. They needed him on their side to show the Native Americans they did not mean any harm. They simply wanted to search for gold, and it only makes sense that the Native Americans would feel intruded upon. Thanks to squanto more hardships were avoided and both colonies could live more peacfully interacting with eachother.
Journals of discovery

This picture represent in a way the hardships of the early settlers journey. They had to do everything themselves, they did not have GPS systems to navigate them through their journey. They boarded on a ship with not very much idea of what was coming next. They trusted their instics and their navigational skills to get them through this. That is one thing that we lack today is trust in our own selves. We rely so much on technology to get us through our everyday lives that we forget that there are some things we should figure out on our own. The early americans spent weeks upon weeks boarded on a ship and did worry about what was coming next week or even the next day; they took it one day at a time and if they made it through one day it was an accomplishment. That is another thing we should take from them is not worrying about our future. We should stop worrying about tomorrow or next week and work on getting through one day at a time
